Validator Staking

🔥 X1 Staking Overview

Stake your $XNT or $SOL to help secure the X1 and Solana blockchain while earning passive rewards. By delegating your XNT or SOL to a validator like XDEX, you support network consensus and earn a share of inflation-based rewards.

🔷 Why Stake XNT/SOL?

  • Earn passive rewards (up to 8%–11% APR)

  • Help secure the X1/Solana blockchain

  • Support decentralization

  • Maintain full custody of your tokens while staking

🔷 Staking Dashboard

👉 Validator Dropdown

  • Select from a list of available validators.

  • Shows performance stats such as uptime, voting rate, and commission.

  • Default selection is the XDEX Validator, known for its high reliability and community support.

👉 Custom Validator Selection

If the validator you want to stake with isn't listed in the dropdown, you can use the Custom Validator option.

  • Select “Custom Validator” from the dropdown.

  • Paste the validator's public key manually.

  • The validator's commission, voting rate, and performance metrics will be displayed.

  • Stake as normal once the validator data is loaded.

This is ideal for:

  • Delegating to new or community validators

  • Power users with direct validator relationships

  • Validators sharing their key directly with delegators

💡 Tip: Always verify the validator’s public key before proceeding.

Once complete, your XNT/SOL will begin earning rewards from the next epoch.

💡 Validator Selection Tips

  • Look for high voting rate and low skip rate.

  • Lower commission = more rewards for you.

  • You can change validators anytime by unstaking and redelegating.

  • Delegating to multiple validators (in separate transactions) helps diversify rewards.

❓ X1 Staking FAQs

How are staking rewards calculated?

Rewards are based on validator uptime, vote success rate, and your share of total delegated stake. Rewards accrue every epoch (~2 days).

What is the APY for staking XNT/SOL?

Estimated APY ranges from 8% to 11%, depending on validator performance and network activity.

How long does it take to unstake my XNT/SOL?

2–3 days (1 full epoch). This delay ensures network stability and prevents rapid stake shifting.

What are validator fees or commissions?

Each validator sets their own. XDEX charges 10% commission on staking rewards.

Is there a minimum amount to stake?

No enforced minimum but staking at least 1 XNT helps cover rent and ensures efficient use of network resources.

What is rent, and is it charged when staking?

Rent (~0.002 SOL) is a one-time fee to create your stake account. It keeps your account active on-chain and is not charged again unless you make a new one.

What happens if my validator performs poorly?

Low voting rate or high skip rate = fewer rewards. You can unstake and delegate to a better-performing validator anytime.

Is my staked XNT locked?

Yes. It’s locked while delegated and for 2–3 days after you deactivate the stake.

Can I stake to multiple validators?

Yes. Just stake to each validator separately using multiple transactions.

What are "assigned" and "skipped" slots?

Assigned: Slots given to your validator to produce blocks. Skipped: Assigned slots where your validator didn’t produce a block (missed).
